Black finishing is a process for blackening ferrous materials like cast iron, forging grade steel and unalloyed/alloyed steel. The surfaces of the materials receive a deep black ferrite layer. The black-tone depends on the material quality, the surface finish and the type and condition of the black oxid dip. The method is used to give the material an appealing look and to increase the corrosion resistance. Our computer-operated, fully automatic facilities guarantee a fast, reliable and high quality black finishing process.
